2020 Community Grants
The Wyandot County Solid Waste Management District awarded 8 grants for the 2020 Community Grants. Updated information will be posted soon. Thank you to everyone who applied!
The Wyandot County SWMD & Recycling Center has made some changes in how we process materials for 2020. Residents can be reimbursed for aluminum on Mondays and Fridays every week, but only on select Saturdays throughout the year. Our drive thru will be open on Saturdays from 8am-noon, but will not be staffed to assist customers. Similarly most electronics can still be dropped off all week long, but TV's and monitors will only be collected on specific Saturdays as well. The rates have changed for TV's and monitors as well, with a flat fee of $5 regardless of size of the unit. The Saturday schedule for aluminum buy-back as well as TV and monitor collection will be on the 5th Saturdays in 2019 which are as follows:
February 29 - May 30 - August 29 - October 31
