2020 Community Grants

The Wyandot County Solid Waste Management District has recently released

the application for the 2020 Community Grant cycle.  We are looking to build upon

the success of the of the program from last year where four grants were approved for

projects around the county.  We look forward to seeing what ideas for projects are submitted

this year.  If you have any questions about the grant process don't hesitate to reach out.

Our Hours

Aluminum Buy-Back/Electronic Recycling

The Wyandot County SWMD & Recycling Center has made some changes in how we process materials for 2019.  Residents can still be reimbursed for aluminum throughout the week, but only on select Saturdays throughout the year.  Our drive thru will be open on Saturdays from 8am-noon, but will not be staffed to assist customers.  Similarly most electronics can still be dropped off all week long, but TV's and monitors will only be collected on specific Saturdays as well.  The rates have changed for TV's and monitors as well, with a flat fee of $5 regardless of size of the unit.  The Saturday schedule for aluminum buy-back as well as TV and monitor collection will be on the 5th Saturdays in 2019 which are as follows:

February 29 - May 30 - August 29 - October 31
